Feeling Worthless?

Everybody felt the feeling of being worthless…even me! It’s natural to feel unwanted. But guess what? If you feel like you just want to die or if you feel like no one cares for you…Someone does!

Here…watch this video by Holly Starr :)..

How do you feel now? Still not worth it?

Well, I’ll tell you what…Hebrews 13: 5 says that :

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”

.

.

God will never leave you even if you think He doesn’t care anymore. H can forgive you of your sins and you can talk to Him through prayer and if you follow His Will, He will give you more blessings you’ll ever get :).

Turn your frown upside down, put on a smiling face :).

You’re beautiful…God created You in His own image.

Kingdom Rock 2013 VBS

July 19, 2013– It was my first time to volunteer! I really had fun and I had new friends :). I was the assistant leader for the group “Pages.”

Our theme was “Kingdom Rock” and at the first day, our focus was that God’s love helps us stand strong. At the second day, our focus was that FAMILY AND FRIENDS HELP US STAND STRONG. At the third day, our focus was that PRAYING TO GOD HELPS US STAND STRONG. At the fourth day, our focus was that TRUSTING GOD HELPS US STAND STRONG. At the last day, our focus was that THE BIBLE HELPS US STAND STRONG.

The kids really enjoyed attending our VBS and you just don’t know how energetic they are! They are way too far from energetic!

God really did a job well done in our VBS! We really enjoyed it and we hope to see more kids next year 🙂

The Night Before Thanksgiving

November 21,2o12- The night before Thanksgiving, we went to Philippine International Baptist Church here in Michigan, where Grandma Rose and Grandpa Obet go to. My Dad preached and we sang :)…

At the beginning, we shared the things we were thankful for by using the “roll the ball” method :)…So, I shared the things I’m thankful for and those are my family and friends :).

Then, my family sang “Better Than I” by Joy Williams. After that, my Dad preached and after that…EATING TIME!!!

So, I got ham and turkey and Sprite. While I was eating, a guy told me to join them (teenagers) to eat, so I said OK and off we went to the Middle School (Sunday School) room. The guy’s name was Shawn and he’s an 8th grader, his sister’s name is Shaira who’s 11 years old like me! She also plays the piano and took violin lessons but just given up and she used to play voleyball JUST LIKE ME! Then I met Ben and T.J., Erika, and the other girls whose name I forgot :)…

So we ate and chatted, they asked me if I had Facebook or a cellphone but I had none :(…Too bad! Then we had fun and some of the girls shouted like crazy, I was about to freak out but it was FUN to have them :).

So, we talked alot and it was time to leave…BUMMER :)!

But it was nice to have new friends and thank God I’m social (doo-dee-doo) :)…

God’s Plans, His Will, You Follow

God knows His plans for me and for you…So why don’t you try and follow His plans?  I have been successful when I followed His plans for me.

When He called me to the ministry in our church, I followed it ’cause I know that I’ll be successful:

God called me to sing Christian songs and to be a part of the choir in our church :).

God also told me to teach “smaller-than-me-kids” Sunday School  every Wednesday night :). I love to teach them ’cause they always listen and follow me whenever I tell them to do the right thing and follow Jesus :).

God also gave me a piano teacher to help me become a successful pianist; I use this talent whenever I am scheduled to render a special number in our church and I’m so glad ’cause who knows? I might be the next pianist in our church or I might be a concert pianist 🙂 🙂 :).

And when you follow Jesus, He can give you friends who are in Him and friends who are always there for you

This picture was when we won in our inter-church  talent festival :)…Thank you, Lord!

And, He also called me to join the volleyball team in our church; I turned out to be the youngest when we competed against other teams from different churches :)!

Also, God planned for our family to go to the U.S.A. so that my Dad can take up his PhD studies in Theology at Wheaton College. I will study at Franklin Middle School and my two sisters are enrolled at Longfellow Elementary School.

So those are part of God’s calling for me…I know that there will be more that’s why I’m always trying to be prepared at all times :).

I’m sure that God has a plan for you and you have to follow it so that you’ll be successful too :)…

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

“None”

Jim: Andrew, Andrew! Help me! Our Sunday School pastor asked us, “what can separate us from God?” please help me! I don’t know what to answer!

Andrew: None

Jim: What??? You must tell me something!

Andrew: None!

Jim: What….You want me to go there and say NONE?! Tell me something!

Andrew: The something is NONE!

Jim: Do you want me to tell the pastor NONE?

Andrew: Yes! Because,something is NONE!

Jim: You’ve got to be kidding me, Andrew!

Andrew: I said NONE because NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD.

-Andrew is right…Nothing can ever separate us from God…NONE!
